The Opportunity
As part of our Business Intelligence team, you will work closely with developers to ensure timely and accurate business reporting to key stakeholders. You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, monitor and troubleshoot stable and effective SQL scripts and ETL processes
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our data warehouse
- Liaise with other members of BI team to improve applications and establish best practices
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
- Research and suggest new database services and protocols
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- IT related diploma. Equivalent experience may be considered
- 3+ years of proven work experience in a similar role
- Mastery of ETL design and development with SSIS
- Expert knowledge of RDBMS (MSSQL preferred) and SQL scripting
- Data warehousing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure technologies
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum
- Experience with data visualization in Tableau
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communications skills
- Time management and analytical skills
- An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude
